The Vilnius Summer Tango Marathon is a long-standing story of music, friendship, and the perfect floor. After all these years, our priority hasn't changed: we focus on providing a clean, high-level dance floor for those who truly know how to use it.

We believe the value of a marathon lies in a common understanding of the ronda. It’s about a crowd that respects the music and the space as much as the embrace. When the floor is filled with attentive, skilled dancers, the energy of the event simply takes care of itself.

The Venue

Hosted at the House of Polish Culture (Naugarduko 76, Vilnius). The hall’s high ceilings and spacious layout keep the air fresh and cool, providing a much-needed haven from the June heat. For your breaks, the on-site restaurant offers excellent meals with special prices for our marathon participants right where you dance. If you feel like exploring, the surrounding neighborhood is packed with everything from Michelin-rated dining to cozy local spots.

Technical Standards

• Acoustics: A specialized sound system designed for classical music with anti-echo treatment. You will hear the instruments, not the room.
• The Floor: Natural wooden parquet. For over a decade, we’ve used a specific treatment to achieve the exact grip and glide required for high-level tango.
• The Format: 5 days and nights, 8 milongas, international DJs, and over 50 hours of music.

Floor Etiquette & Atmosphere

We prioritize traditional codigos: mirada, cabeceo, and clearing the floor during cortinas. We maintain a strict role balance and open seating. Our goal is to bring together skilled dancers who value a respectful, focused, and friendly environment.

Key Details

• Capacity: 300 dancers.
• Marathon Pass: 140 EUR (includes 8 milongas from Thursday to Monday).
• Inclusions: Water, tea, fruit, snacks, and our famous cookies from a local Lithuanian bakery are provided throughout the event.
• Bar: An on-site bar is available. (Please do not bring outside alcoholic drinks).

Registration: Mandatory. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Monday afterparty is a separate event.
